Mexico's Obrador: Optimistic that agreement can be reached in trade talks in Washington today

Ahead of high-level talks in Washington, Mexican President Andres Manuel López Obrador said that they were optimistic a trade agreement could be reached in today's talks and added that Mexico wanted to "maintain unity" with the United States.

Earlier in the day, White House trade adviser Navarro told CNN that they could avoid tariffs on Mexico.
