EUR futures: neutral/bearish near term

Open interest in EUR futures markets dropped around 2.3K contracts on Friday from Thursday’s final 526,080 contracts, according to preliminary data from CME Group. Volume, as well, decreased by more than 7.5K contracts and prolonged the choppy performance.

EUR/USD looks to extra consolidation

EUR/USD appears to have found decent support in the mid-1.1300s for the time being amidst shrinking volume and open interest. Despite a visit to the 1.1300 neighbourhood is not ruled out, further consolidation appears the most likely scenario in the short-term horizon.
