Italy's PM Renzi to speak to the nation around 23:00 GMT

Italy's PM Matteo Renzi, who is likely to lose today's Italian refernedum on constitutional refrms based on exit polls , is likely to resign.

Renzi will speak to the nation at around midnight (2300 gmt), according to govt sources.

According to Ialian exit polls, Renzi is projected to lose the constitutional reform referendum by a clear margin.

The 'No' camapign leads at 55%-59% in EMG exit poll, while 'No' is also ahead in EMGexit poll for La 7. The turnout has been quite large as well.
