US: Factory orders rise 0.3% in September

 

US factory orders rose by a seasonally adjusted 0.3% in September, the Commerce Department reported Thursday.

This climb was above the 0.2% rise expected by analysts and follows an upwardly revised reading of 0.4% in August, from a 0.2% gain previously estimated.

Factory orders have risen for the third month in a row now.
