RBNZ will cut...this year - Rabobank

Analysts at Rabobank explained that they see strong risk that the RBNZ will cut rates further this year.

RBNZ cuts interest rate by 25bp to 2.75%, further easing likely

The Reserve Bank today reduced the Official Cash Rate (OCR) by 25 basis points to 3.0 percent, and leaving the door open to further cuts by noting that "a reduction in the OCR is warranted by the softening in the economy and the need to keep future average CPI inflation near the 2 percent target midpoint", adding that "at this stage, some further easing in the OCR seems likely."
