Greece needs debt reduction – IMF’s Lagarde

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - IMF’s Chief C.Lagarde has argued that restructuring the Greek debt could make it sustainable, that is, changing maturities, rates a and implementing government reforms. She also said that there is no possible solution without debt reduction.

Lagarde also said that these new talks with Greece could take at least 4 weeks, and she casted a mantle of doubt about Greek banks re-opening on Monday.
